The Drug Free Workplace Kit is designed to assist your organisation with implementing a "Drug Free Workplace" by providing you with the policy, the procedure, the tools, the forms and the required training. The Drug Free Workplace kit assists your organisation to meet its obligation to ensure the health safety and welfare at work of all personnel, contractors, customers and members of the public, creating a safer work environment, by minimising hazards associated with the inappropriate use of drugs. The Drug Free Workplace kit provides a systematic framework for implementing and maintaining a Drug Free Workplace. Firstly, the policy provides top management commitment and objectives of a drug free workplace. Followed by awareness training for all personnel affected by the policy. A drug testing procedure and testing form* are also included in the kit to guide the organisation in the practices not only around the testing but associated issues such as privacy and confidentiality, frequency of testing and maintenance of records. * The testing form contains both the requirements for initial screening and confirmatory testing (including contact details for the toxiclogy unit) to make the process as streamlined as possible.
